- Peckham Memories: Peckham Residents in discussion with YR 9 English students
- Reimaging the Archive, inspired by Exhibition in a Box: The Missing Chapter, with yr. 8 English students
- Hairytage inspired art workshop with artist Ben Nugent and Yr. 9 photography students
- Our Hero’s into Verse – Poetry workshop with Mr. Mark. T. Thompson and yr9 Photography students
These workshops reimagined the archive, finding new purpose to images that were long forgotten.
We tried to unearth personal stories of those in our communities that are often silenced.
These workshops provided a space to listen to, to attend to those whispers from past histories and to imagine a new.
We shared stories with people from the community, listened to their histories and made connections with our own.
We imagined Peckham’s past, discussed its present, and hoped for its future.
We reminded ourselves, that although some voices have more purchase in our society, the soul of a nation often lies within the untold stories.
Thoughts were shared through painted marks and spoken words.
It is here where we searched, pulled stories from lost images, listened to memories and created together to form an archive.
