Nazneen Ayyub-Wood
About
Nazneen is a London based artist whose art & spatial practice is socially activated through the re-imagining of perceptions around emotions, communication, and co-existence. By creating parallel spaces to host encounters, she invites participants to discuss and speculate possible futures between human and non-human animals and agents. The nature of her participatory practice has been delivered through performance, installations, workshops, and one-to-one sessions. My practice includes the use of purpose built mobile booths, furniture, audio and music, and furniture to provide a backdrop to explore possible presents and futures.
Nazneen is an artist, spatial practitioner and researcher who has a Masters in Research in Fine Arts & Humanities from the Royal College of Art and MA in Design Critical Practice from Goldsmiths College. She has exhibited in solo, group shows and events in London (Royal College of Art, Goldsmiths College, Imperial College, Core Arts Gallery, Usurp Art Gallery & Rossi & Rossi Gallery) & New York (Queens Museum of Modern Art, Taubmann Museum & Aicon Gallery).

Artistic vision:
Nazneen is passionate about demystifying and enhancing the academic and creative process, facilitating an inclusive learning environment. Hoping to creatively, but critically engage the students in their own art practice through playful interventions. Her intention is to evoke hope and provide guidance on how to produce meaningful spaces of exchanges.
