Breathing:
In these new circumstances, breathing, the theme for the first workshop, became more prevalent and urgent than ever. Breath was traced, recorded in mark making, captured in ink with invented paper straw drawing tools and low fi materials of acetate, brown paper bags, elastic bands and graphite. Our first action was to breathe slowly, allowing breath to fill our bellies to create a reflective, collective pause.
